Spring 2023 Bridal Trends

Spring 2023 Trends

Asymmetrical Neckline

Asymmetrical necklines are here for the trendy and slightly edgy brides. An asymmetrical neckline can really create a beautiful frame for the collarbone and neck. If done right, it is a chic and sophisticated look. In this area, Romona Keveza does not disappoint. Her effortlessly chic designs, in her signature crepe fabric, are just what this trend calls for.

Sheer Fabrics

Spring is the time where fabrics get lighter and this year they go as light as utterly sheer. Sheer fabrics are for the bold bride looking for an ethereal look. With sheer fabrics come fabric manipulation and delicate floral appliques to enhance the fabric. The detail added to a sheer fabric needs to be as dainty as the fabric in order to keep that light and airy look. With this trend, we look no further then Lee Petra Grebenau. The designers attention to luxurious fabrics and exquisite hand-sewn embroideries take sheer fabrics to new heights.

Mock Neck

A second neckline trend is the mock neck. This royally inspired trend is for a fashion forward yet demure bride. When done correctly, this neckline creates a long/lean look with a touch of mystery. Ersa Atelier’s hand crafted lace and hand-sewn beading allow a mock neck, although covered up, to still feel light and open.

Heather Stuns in a Beautiful Mix of Gems and Lace

Beautiful Dimitra’s Bridal bride Heather O’Laughlin wearing Freya from the Boheme IV collection.  Australian designer Leah Da Gloria created such a beautiful mix of gems and lace.

Her wedding was at the Tippecanoe Place, a beautiful midwest manor that was built in the 19th century located in South Bend Indiana.  The rich and colorful history of this location along with Heather’s beautiful spirit brought the atmosphere that she wanted to bring to life on her wedding day alive.

Heather was so much fun from the moment she stepped into the salon.   When she put this beautiful gown on by Leah Da Gloria she just did not want to take it off.  It was as if we knew her for years and she instantly became part of Dimitra’s Bridal family.

Congratulations Heather and THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO BE PART OF THIS VERY SPECIAL TIME WITH YOU!!!!!!

I am still processing and unwinding from the wonder and beauty of our wedding weekend, but to sum up everyone’s reaction to the dress in one word… “STUNNING.” I cannot tell you how often guests and social media friends have used that word to describe how beautiful I looked.

Thank you (and your team of course) for everything!! I truly believe that each and every person that played a role in making this day possible was brought into my life for a reason and you all are truly no exception to that. I can’t wait to stop in and see you all again soon!”
