We are excited to share a real-life movie “meet-cute” where real Dimitra’s bride Annie was the girl next door. She grew up across the street from, her now husband, Victor from ages 8 and 9 years old. Fast forward to years later, Victor got the courage to ask Annie out on a date and the rest is history.

“We grew up across the street from one another and met at ages 8 & 9. Fast forward to summer of 2018, when Victor first asked me out on a date. We saw a movie, had dinner, and ended the night with ice cream in the town we shared childhood memories in. From that moment on, we were each other’s rock, cheerleader, lover, and best friend. Victor chose March 18 to pop the question since my parents got married on March 17 and his parents got engaged on March 19. He proposed on the lakefront path in front of the Shedd Aquarium (in the same spot he asked me to be his girlfriend!).” – Real Dimitra’s Bride Annie

Annie was elegant in Romona Keveza. She said yes to a beautiful and clean crepe gown with sheer sleeves. The perfect choice for a crisp October wedding day. Annie added a bit of drama with adding a custom, removable ruffled train. It was everything she had hoped for with inspiration from her grandmother.
