The Zuhair Murad Fall 2022 bridal collection has been released and we are literally speechless! As the exclusive retailer for Zuhair Murad wedding dresses in Chicago, we were thrilled to see a return to the beautiful beadwork the designer’s evening wear collection is known for. According to Zuhair Murad himself, this collection was inspired by diamonds: “Born since the dawn of time, this eternal gem is the embodiment of love’s beginning, granting fortune to all those it adorns and exciting the imagination with its sheer regency. Dear to women’s hearts and captivating with its radiance, the timeless diamond inspired Zuhair Murad to design a collection of contemporary and vibrant wedding gowns, luminous with a thousand lights.”
This Fall-Winter 2022 Collection is bewitching and features cabochon-cut stones arranged in multi-faceted patterns on sheaths, as well as princess-cut skirts in warm, magnolia-colored silk tulles (also available in off white for the more traditional bride!) The skirts are topped with the designer’s signature fitted corset bodice that cinches his bride at the waist so beautifully, and is fully embellished by a delicate blend of sparkling crystals in ecru ivory and silver.
Zuhair Murad’s signature embroideries do not fall short in the Fall 2022 bridal collection, as they flirt with geometric patterns, featuring a medley of sharp angles on the one hand, and a dense crescendo on the other, highlighting the radiance of the swarovski crystal elements that float throughout the dreamy layers of silk tulle.
There are two ethereal and effervescent lace dresses in the collection which are incandescent and shimmer. The first features a long sleeves, a high neckline and removable tulle skirt with matching lace. The second is an uber romantic natural waisted chantilly lace ballgown, with long sleeves and an off the shoulder, deep V neckline. Both gowns feature the perfect balance of modesty and revealing elements, traditional yet modern, feminine yet edgy – and always with a matching cathedral length veil to take everyone’s breath away!
The Kendell gown’s silk taffeta is draped delicately over the bodice boasting a sweetheart neckline, and falling to the floor regally for awe-inspiring glamor. We are completely obsessed with the beaded illusion gloves, which give the perfect dash of glamour and sophistication to the final look! We can’t wait to see which of our brides will find an excuse to re wear these beauties as a statement piece following the wedding!
The Karoline gown features a sequin embellished sheath wedding dress with long sleeves, whose silhouette reveals the flawless details of the bride’s shape. This seductive wedding dress is balanced by the sweet silk mikado overskirt, which comes off when the bride is ready to be light and move easily among her guests and on the dance floor!
Katya is sure to be a favorite among our brides – a timeless clean look, yet never simple. The rich pleating, figure flattering silhouette and dramatic bow make this wedding gown as much of a showstopper as the fully beaded sister dresses in the collection! A high slit in the front of the skirt can be closed for the more modest bride, but with a fabulous pair of shoes and the incredible matching veil – this wedding gown is sure to be the centerpiece of the wedding!
Finally Ketty appears in the collection for the very effortless bride, who wants a light wedding dress with movement and unassuming charm. This breezy silk chiffon ballgown has a flattering off the shoulder neckline, beaded appliques at the bodice and a removable matching cape to add to the impact of the gown’s charm!
