“I couldn’t have had a better experience! They spent so much time with me helping me find the dress that was perfect for me and spent countless hours customizing it to fit my exact vision during the tailoring process,” Brooke shared.
The Dress: A Tony Ward Masterpiece
Brooke said yes to “Wild” by Tony Ward, a breathtaking gown that became the perfect canvas for her dream. The gown featured a detachable overskirt that transformed her look from elegant drama to sleek modernity. Once the skirt was removed, an abstract bow was revealed—an architectural detail that echoed Brooke’s love for unique design.
The gown’s intricate beading created a pattern reminiscent of Chicago’s iconic skyline, a fitting tribute as the city itself played a starring role in Brooke’s wedding day.
The Ceremony: A Dramatic Entrance
Walking down the grand aisle of Holy Name Cathedral, Brooke’s entrance was nothing short of spectacular. The detachable overskirt swept gracefully behind her, adding a regal touch to her long walk. When the cathedral doors opened and guests stood to catch their first glimpse, the moment was electric—especially for her groom, waiting at the altar.
The Reception: City Views & Summer Romance
The celebration continued at RPM Events, overlooking the Chicago River and skyline. The modern, architectural space was softened with lush arrangements of white and cornflower blue florals, perfectly complementing the summer season. Guests were delighted to find one of Brooke’s favorite details: an Aperol spritz cart, the ultimate nod to summer’s most beloved cocktail.
How She Felt
For Brooke, the gown was more than just a dress—it was a reflection of her confidence and timeless style. “It made me feel confident and classy,” she told us, capturing exactly what every bride hopes to feel on her wedding day.
