Brittany’s wedding day was the perfect blend of ethereal beauty, classic elegance, and modern romance—and Dimitra’s Bridal was honored to help her bring that vision to life with not one, but two unforgettable gowns.
“I had the best experience at Dimitra’s!” Brittany shared. “Marissa was the specialist that assisted me on multiple visits, and she is the one that picked out the wedding gown I chose! I enjoyed the experience so much that I ended up buying a second dress from there as well for my reception dress! Every time I went to Dimitra‘s, I felt like the most special person there and that everyone working was there to make the experience the best possible. They really all make you feel like the princess you should!”
For her ceremony, Brittany wore a floral lace, strapless full A-line gown with a matching veil and romantic removable sleeves by Valentini Spose. The gown floated effortlessly through the garden setting, perfectly capturing the princess, elegant, regal, and ethereal mood Brittany had always dreamed of.
For her reception, she changed into a stunning Tina Valerdi gown—a fitted, beaded masterpiece with a basque waist that added a modern twist while still maintaining timeless grace.
Brittany and her now-husband met in college at Illinois State University, where a shared class and neighboring dorm rooms sparked their connection. From walks to class to walks down the aisle, their love story has been built on shared moments, steady growth, and perfect timing. “The month of May holds a very special significance to us,” Brittany told us. “It’s the month he first asked me to be his girlfriend in 2016, the month we moved in together in 2023, and the month he proposed in 2024. And now, it’s the month we got married—on 5/24/25.”
Their wedding took place at a charming French-style manor in Michigan, transformed from a bed and breakfast into a storybook venue. With friends and family staying on the property all weekend, blooming gardens, and sunshine breaking through just before the ceremony, the setting was pure magic.
“Our reception was breathtakingly beautiful,” Brittany shared. “Florals were suspended from the ceilings with French chandeliers, and our custom floral crest on the dance floor was the perfect final touch. The entire team of vendors we had were top notch professionals.”
