Ali & Nick’s Love Story: A Fairytale Beginning
Ali and Nick’s journey to the altar began in October 2021, when they met at their best friends’ wedding. For Ali, it was love at first sight and dance! That fateful night led to a beautiful romance, culminating in their August 2024 wedding at St. James 1868 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Perfect Venue for a Timeless Wedding
Nestled in Milwaukee, St. James 1868 is an old church transformed into an elegant event venue. With its historic charm and romantic atmosphere, it provided the perfect backdrop for Ali and Nick’s big day. The couple was blessed with a picture-perfect August day.
Guests were welcomed with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the outdoor patio, accompanied by a live piano performance, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration. As the sun set, the festivities continued inside, where dinner and dancing created the perfect ending to their magical night.
Ali’s Dream Wedding Dress: A Custom Bridal Look
When it came to her bridal gown, Ali had a clear vision. She shared, “I had the absolute best experience at Dimitra’s! I didn’t feel rushed, and I felt they paid attention to all the small details I was searching for.”
Ali found the perfect dress in a sleek and sophisticated Lela Rose gown, but she wanted to add a personal touch—a statement bow. After exploring different options, she fell in love with a dramatic organza bow, the perfect finishing detail to bring her dream look to life.
“I’ve always wanted a big bow on my dress, and we found the most unique of all the ones I looked at!” Ali told us. The result was a stunning custom bridal gown that blended modern elegance with timeless sophistication—a true reflection of her personal style.
