When Danielle and Phillip decided it was finally time to say “I do,” they knew their wedding would be a grand celebration—a beautiful blend of Danielle’s big Greek family and Phillip’s lively Italian roots. From the moment Phillip popped the question, Danielle had one thing on her mind: the dress. And she knew exactly where to find it—Dimitra’s Bridal Couture.
As soon as she stepped into our salon, Danielle was met with the warm guidance of her consultant, Macy. Together, they explored a stunning selection of couture gowns until they found the one: a breathtaking Reem Acra silk Mikado fitted gown with crystal-embellished straps and a dramatic overskirt. The structured elegance of the gown perfectly complemented Danielle’s timeless style, and the overskirt added just the right amount of drama for her grand entrance. Later in the night, she removed it—just in time for all the energetic Greek dancing!
Reflecting on her experience, Danielle shared, “I worked with Macy to try on dresses and we found the most perfect dress for me! Dorina, the seamstress, did an amazing job with my alterations. Everyone was very professional and pleasant to work with.”
Danielle and Phillip had a traditional Greek ceremony at a beautiful church in the Chicago suburbs. The celebration continued at the historic Cuneo Mansion and Gardens, where the couple and their guests danced the night away. And when we say danced, we mean danced—Phillip twirled Danielle across the floor as her silk gown floated around her, a true showstopper of the night.
“My gown made me feel beautiful, elegant, and classy,” Danielle told us. And we have to agree—she was the epitome of bridal perfection.
The reception was a dreamy vision of white florals, gold accents, and endless love. But beyond the breathtaking décor, the most unforgettable part of the evening was the energy in the room—the warmth of two families coming together, the joy of lifelong friends, and, of course, the flowing ouzo.
