Alexandra’s Journey in Love & Finding her Dream Gown!
Some love stories start with a single glance, others with a chance encounter—but for Real Dimitra’s Bride Alexandra and her husband Mitchell, their journey began with a seat assignment. While Alexandra likes to say their love, story started at the University of Michigan in a small student group, Mitchell insists it truly began when they found themselves working side by side. Seated next to each other, they quickly became friends, bonding over daily coffee runs, assisting each other with challenging assignments, and keeping each other company during late nights at work. Over the years, their friendship blossomed into something more, as they shared a love for long runs along Lake Michigan, celebrated milestones at Chicago’s finest steakhouses, and never missed a Broadway in Chicago show—each performance followed by an in-depth review on their walk home.
Mitchell knew he wanted a lifetime of these adventures and asked Alexandra to marry him at her family’s cottage in Northern Michigan, surrounded by their closest loved ones. With a heart full of excitement, Alexandra embarked on her next big journey—finding the perfect wedding gown.
When it came time to say “yes” to the dress, Alexandra knew exactly where to go. With the help of her consultant, Macy, Alexandra chose a fitted Nouvelle Amsale gown that had a classic shape and feminine floral jacquard fabric. “My experience at Dimitra’s Bridal was truly wonderful,” she shared. “Macy, was incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel completely comfortable and at ease throughout the process. On her wedding day, Alexandra radiated elegance in a gown that made her feel “elegant, sophisticated, and feminine.” She and Mitchell exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony at Fourth Presbyterian Church, a place filled with personal significance and timeless beauty. Their celebration continued at RPM Events, a sleek, contemporary venue that perfectly reflected their refined style. With a sophisticated all-white floral design and delicate touches of light blue woven throughout the decor—from ribbons to linens—every detail evoked the serene beauty of Lake Michigan, a place so dear to their hearts.
Together, Alexandra and Mitchell crafted a wedding day that was as timeless as their love story, filled with heartfelt moments, elegant details, and memories that will last a lifetime.
