Describe Your Dimitra’s Bridal Experience:
“Dimitra’s is the best!! I went twice. The first time with my mom, sister and mother in law. Macy helped us! She pushed me to try on different looks and narrow down my opinion aside from all the others. It was so much fun, they poured champagne and we all laughed at the different “yes, no, love, maybe, etc” signs the moms and my sister would hold up for each dress. There were lots of appointments going on, yet our space was large and you didn’t feel rushed or crowded. The dresses were incredible quality and each one was so unique. We put one dress on hold then came back two weeks later. The salon opened on Father’s Day for me, so my parents and sister could come back. It was beyond kind of them to do. Macy met us with a huge smile, she had the dress ready but prior to trying it on we walked around the salon once more. Macy pulled a dress and I didn’t care much for it on the hanger but she pushed me to try it on…..and guess what it ended up being the dress!!! I came out of the room, turned the corner to the big mirror and started tearing up. Dimitra’s made the entire expire easy and so fun! I can’t recommend and thank them enough.” – Real Bride Daniella

“One football Sunday I was at my parent’s place in Lincoln Park. My mom pushed me to download a dating app, Bumble. She heard that’s how everyone meets. I rolled my eyes and downloaded the app. My mom was so entertained with each guy that popped up and their bios. Needless to say she had a comment for all of them. Westin, my now husband, popped up and my mom’s face started glowing, she said “look he likes charcuterie, likes to travel, he likes to golf, he looks wholesome and handsome”. My mom is Italian and in the first picture Westin had on his profile was in a foreign country with meat, cheese and wine in the corner. She naturally got so excited. She made me swipe right and it was a match. I had no interest in dating apps so I said something dumb like “aside from watching the Bears lose what did you do today”, Westin came back with “I’m a Vikings fan” and something else that I don’t remember but it made me laugh. He was so short at first and I took it as a challenge to get him to meet up with me given I promised my mom I’d go out with him. After about a week our conversations got longer, and we couldn’t stop talking. It took a month for us to meet up due to work travel schedules. Our first date was on Halloween and two weeks later we were officially dating. We owe it all to my mom and fate. Funny thing is Westin’s location settings were 1 mile. If I wasn’t at my parents place I wouldn’t have matched with him since I lived in River North at the time.” – Real Bride Daniella
