We are thrilled to share our images from New York Bridal Fashion Week of the Kenneth Pool Spring 2016 couture bridal collection.

As always, Amsale Aberra outdid herself, sending one breathtaking gown after another down the runway.  According to Amsale, “The focus of the this collection is creating drama through exaggerated silhouettes.  Silk magnolia takes the spotlight with its luxurious sheen, sexy seaming and super cinched in skirts.  White crystal hand beading shimmers across bold fit to flares and dramatic layered tulle ballgowns.  The Kenneth Pool collection is ultra glamorous!”

The Spring 2016 collection introduces three modern bridal styles perfect for the contemporary wedding.  Featuring clean lines, with touches of feminine detail, these wedding gowns are made for the urban wedding and a bride with a very chic, minimalist personal style.

The sheen of the silk magnolia fabric coupled with the corsette bodice and cut out details make the “Milani” gown shown below one of our absolute favorite gowns in the collection!  This modestly bare gown has the perfect balance of style and sophistication.

The “Maxine” gown features Amsale’s signature scalloped beadwork from the ever popular Estelle gown, but this time with a long train and even longer matching veil!

The hand beaded, embroidered lace bodice makes the “Jillian” gown below another one of our favorites for Spring 2016.  Featuring the SS16 bridal trend of tone on tone beadwork, the bodice has beautiful sparkle and dimension, without feeling glitzy.  With a romantic, unembellished tulle skirt, the gown feels ethereal, feminine, and glamorous all at once!

A sister to Jillian, the “Rina” gown below also features the Spring 2016 bridal trend of tone on tone beadwork, but unlike her romantic sister, Rina has a dramatic fit and flare silhouette!  The fitted bodice, featuring a stunning lattice patterned beadwork, hugs the curves beautifully and is met by a sensational skirt with countless layers of tulle!

Polina” is demure and feminine, with a modified A Line skirt featuring beautiful layers of horsehair finished organza.  The low, illusion keyhole beautifully frames the bride’s back, and is a lovely surprise on this otherwise sweet and timeless bridal gown!

Finally, we arrive at “Lysett” – our ballerina princess bride!  This unapologetically romantic gown features hand sewn embroideries and beadwork on a corsette bodice that fits the body impeccably!  We love that Amsale insists on presenting this classic bridal gown to today’s bride – in the face of sexier bridal trends, this demure aesthetic is definitely “new” again!
