Inbal Dror will forever be famous for her signature gown often referred to as the “VIP”- a figure conscious fit and flare with defined cups, sheer lace corset back, and a dramatically long train that is completely unexpected on such a fitted gown! This dress and its signature elements have been imitated (but never duplicated) by designers all over the world. It is easy to understand why – the balance of edgy glamour and soft femininity, along with the signature fit make this wedding dress incredibly special.
Inbal reinterprets this silhouette in each new collection, and Fall 2016 includes three stunning takes on the original. The first is a simple, clean interpretation of the original with incredibly beautiful ivory lace over a soft blush lining. There is nothing fussy about this dress – the elimination of the skirt’s tiers has an elongating effect for those of us who are not quite runway model height!
The second dress also features a simplified silhouette, with a beautiful combination of chantilly lace and embroidery. The corset bodice hugs the body beautifully and the plunging neckline while deep, feels discreet with a sheer center panel. On the runway, this wedding gown was presented with a blush lining that stops at mid thigh for a hi low effect. In the salon, brides will be able to see this fully lined with an option to order their gown daring or discreet!
We have to point out the incredibly beautiful dimensional details on the train of this gown. A symphony of organza flowers, feathers and crystal accents dance under a single layer of sheer netting. This unexpected element makes the dress stunning from every angle. We are already dreaming about the breathtaking bustle we can create for this gown’s reception look!
The third redesign is the most daring and the most fabulous of the collection. She came down the runway completely sheer, with a combination of glistening silver chantilly lace and the organic white embroidery seen throughout the collection. The skirt is a shamelessly overabundant layering of english netting and ends in a dramatically long train that is unexpected on this figure conscious silhouette!
The strapless sweetheart neckline of this dress was modified on the runway with an uber chic balloon sleeve blouse. This removable accessory is a sheer piece of glamourous fantasy, adding a layer of attitude rather than modesty to the look! We love the idea of pairing this with a great pair of heels and jeans after the wedding!
